The Japanese manga series Demon Slayer Mugen Train: Kimetsu no Yaiba bluray(, Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train, lit. "Blade of Demon Destruction") is written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. After his family is slaughtered and his younger sister Nezuko is transformed into a demon, Tanjiro Kamado decides to become a demon slayer. From February 2016 to May 2021, it was serialized in Shueisha's shonen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump, with chapters collected in 23 tanks on volumes. Viz Media published it in English, and Shueisha sims published it on their Manga Plus website.
From April to September 2019, a 26-episode anime television series adaptation created by Ufotable aired in Japan. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, a sequel film, was released in October 2020 and went on to become the highest-grossing anime and Japanese film of all time. In the meantime, the second season is set to air in 2021.
The manga had over 150 million copies in circulation as of February 2021, including digital versions, making it one of the most successful manga series of all time. Meanwhile, the anime series has been praised by critics, who praised the animation and battle sequences. It has won several awards and is widely regarded as one of the best anime series of the decade. The Demon Slayer franchise is expected to have grossed at least 270 billion yen ($2.6 billion) in Japan by December 2020.

But there is one thing I am confident of: demon slayer is a fantastic anime that you should certainly watch; it has one of the best storylines I have ever seen. However, I would wait until season 1 is confirmed; it's difficult to wait every few days for a new episode, particularly when the anime is so amazing.
